Under the banner of Equinox Global Entertainments, Vamana is produced by Chetan Gowda, directed by Shankar Raman, and stars Dhanveer in the lead role. The grand trailer launch event took place at Prasanna Theatre on Magadi Road. Challenging Star Darshan, who is currently filming in Rajasthan, released the trailer via video. Thousands of Darshan’s fans gathered at Prasanna Theatre to witness this grand occasion.

Vamana marks Dhanveer’s fourth film. His previous three films were all distinct in their storytelling, with Kaiva being his personal favorite. Vamana has already captivated audiences with its teaser and songs. He especially loved the song Muddu Rakshasi from the film. Speaking about the release, Darshan stated, “The trailer is out today, and the film is hitting theatres on April 10. I urge everyone to watch it in theatres and support Kannada cinema. I will also be watching Vamana alongside Dhanveer.”

Dhanveer expressed his gratitude to Challenging Star Darshan for launching the trailer and to Vijayalakshmi Darshan for unveiling the mother-son bond-themed song. “Darshan sir was supposed to attend the event today, but he is away for a shoot. He did not want to inconvenience the producers, so he arranged for me to meet him on set, where he watched the trailer and appreciated the film. He has promised to watch Vamana in a theatre,” Dhanveer shared. He also expressed his joy over the massive turnout for the event and appreciated the support from the film’s cast and crew, particularly the senior actors and technicians.

Producer Chetan Gowda extended special thanks to Darshan and Vijayalakshmi Darshan for launching the trailer and the song. “This is the first production of our company, and the director has crafted a wonderful film. With the combined efforts of the cast and crew, the film has shaped up excellently. Vamana is set for a grand statewide release on April 10. We urge everyone to watch and support the film,” he said. Co-producer Roopa Chetan was also present at the event.

Director Shankar Raman described Vamana as a story about the bond between a mother and son, while also incorporating all the elements that audiences seek in a film. “The entire team’s efforts have contributed to making this film a success,” he noted.

Lead actress Reeshma Nanaiah expressed her happiness about the event and urged audiences to watch Vamana in theatres.

Other cast and crew members, including Tara Anuradha, multilingual actor Sampath Raj, Chitkala Biradar, Kote Prabhakar, Petrol Prasanna, Cockroach Sudhi, music director Ajaneesh Loknath, C.R.
