This is a positive development in the Kannada film industry. It is truly a happy occasion that a new cinema has opened at a time when many are closing down. Recently, a well-equipped multiplex named “V Cinemas,” with four auditoriums, was inaugurated on the main road of Ramamurthy Nagar, Hoysala city.
Ramesh Aravind inaugurated the cinema and purchased tickets for the first show. Daali Dhananjaya operated the projector. Senior distributor Mars Suresh, owner Ajit Jagadish, and technician Mathew were present at the function.
Distributor Mars Suresh welcomed the guests and said that Ajit has built a well-equipped cinema in Ramamurthy Nagar. “I have been given the responsibility of managing this theatre. There are four auditoriums with a seating capacity of around 100 each. It is equipped with modern technology, and the seats are arranged so that the movie looks good on the screen, regardless of where one is sitting. The ticket prices are also much lower than other multiplexes. Priority will be given to Kannada films. ‘Kotee,’ starring Dolly Dhananjaya, is the first film to be screened today,” he said.
“No matter what modern technology comes, the experience of watching a movie in a theater surrounded by thousands of people is unique. Everyone should watch movies in theaters,” Ramesh Aravind said, congratulating the owner and Mars Suresh on opening the cinema.
“The joy of watching a movie in a theater cannot be replicated at home. When everyone enjoys a movie in the theaters, the joy for actors like us is immense. Everyone should watch films in cinemas,” Daali Dhananjaya said, wishing “V Cinemas” good luck.
