A powerful title with powerful actors Dr. Shivarajakumar and Daali Dhananjay on board has now invited the richly talented Chaitra Achar to join the cast of “Uttarakaanda” Kannada cinema.
Chaitra Achar will portray ‘Lachchi’ in the film, which is an action drama directed by Rohit Padaki and produced by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj under the KRG Studios banner.
The first schedule of “Uttarakaanda,” spanning 15 days, will be shot in the city of Vijayapura. Despite its Muhurtha in November 2022, “Uttarakaanda” experienced a delayed start due to meticulous planning, research, and extensive brainstorming, as the entire film will be in the Uttara Karnataka dialect, showcasing the authenticity of the culture in North Karnataka. These factors, coupled with some unavoidable circumstances, postponed the commencement of the movie. However, with a well-defined plan in place, the movie has finally commenced shooting today, with the entire cast and crew excited and thrilled to begin.
Rohith Padaki, the director, expresses, “I am excited and looking forward to kickstarting Uttarakaanda, which people are eagerly awaiting. This film required significant preparation and planning for execution. The producers and I have invested our hearts and souls into bringing our vision to the screen. With talents like Shivanna and Dhananjaya, our responsibility to deliver quality content has significantly increased, and KRG will spare no effort in giving fans what they deserve.”
Karthik Gowda, the Producer, asserts, ‘Uttarakaanda’ will be KRG’s pride, and we are committed to presenting the Kannada audience with a film they can be proud of.
“Uttarakaanda” features music by renowned Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi, while Advaitha Gurumurthy handles the camera, and Vishwas Kashyap oversees the production design.
