At last, true Pan-India cinema has come from the Kannada film industry to this country. Compared to other Pan-India cinema content, UI stands out as an outstanding piece and the right subject for the people of this subcontinent.

Upendra’s Intelligence—that is UI—is tremendously narrated and backed by wonderful style. Only Upendra can craft such an amazing subject that holds a mirror to society at large.

This is true and correct Pan-India cinema because of its subject and narration pattern. Upendra’s approach is like medicine direct, without any sugarcoating. The production values from the prestigious Lahari and Venus banners leave no shortcomings. The technicalities, especially from ace cameraman HC Venu and renowned music composer Ajaneesh Lokanath, are additional strengths to this powerhouse called UI.

There is no scope for Sathya, and Kalki has been born to rule the roost. The attitudes of people remain unchanged; they are left with no clothes to lead life, let alone food and shelter. This is the real “warning” from the film UI—a message the people of this country should focus on.

Upendra’s strong address, delivered in his stupendous style, is aimed at the people who vote in this democratic country, which is deeply affected by religion and caste. It emphasizes choosing your leader based on merit rather than succumbing to other influences. It also highlights the importance of focusing on what truly matters.

Religion and caste play vital roles in shaping society. The rich are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer. The question arises: when will this system be eradicated? This thought-provoking alert is central to the film.

The “WARNER” in this well-focused film lies in the fight between Sathya and Asathya, represented by Kalki Bhagwan—both roles played effortlessly by Upendra.

The film strongly emphasizes how Sathya is surrounded by difficulties and how Asathya dances horrifyingly within society. Upendra’s unique style makes this portrayal highly convincing. Of course, this is also a depiction of UIUniversal Intelligence. The sarcastic slap on society’s face is evident in the scenes showing people reduced to a single piece of cloth, reflecting a grim future.

In this 132-minute cinema, UPENDRA, understanding the philosophy of life, goes to the pages of the Bhagawad Geetha in his narration of man and animal differences. It is the ego and endless wants of human beings that are the focus of the present situation he portrays. At the same time, if one is intelligent, to what extent they can use their brilliance is the right presentation in this AI generation.

At the beginning of the film UI, the fact is that showing real things on screen is the attempt. The censor board, also in a quixotic situation, passes the film with a UI certificate. The story begins when a journalist, even after watching the film, is unable to write the review. He moves on to uncover the real script, and as he goes through the pages, the terrific presentation captivates the audience. ‘If you are a fool, then sit down; if you are intelligent, get out’ – Upendra sets his base at the start with a depiction of the true realities of a futuristic society.

The mother-and-nature comparison that Upendra makes in this film is a direct strike at wrongdoers. Burning, timber, medical, and business mafias exploiting Mother Earth on one side, and the mass rape that happened to his mother, blend seamlessly into his story. Bringing back memories of his mother’s life becomes his top priority, and Kalki fights vehemently.

Upendra, as Sathya—an embodiment of truth—delivers a soft and composed performance. However, as Kalki Bhagwan, he delivers a rapid and impactful performance, cautioning against future societal disturbances.

Reeshma Nanaiah brims with energy, and her portrayal of a character unable to confess her love is refreshingly unique. The song Troll Agode… is a highlight, with her performance stealing the show.

Ravishanker as Katri Seena urf Vamana an aspirant of ‘Central Samrat’ has a different character and his focus is brilliant. Sadhu Kokila, Achyuth Kumar, V Manohar, Manasi Sudhir, Murali Sharma and others give the right support and add value to the characters.

On the technical side, music composers shine in three songs – the Mumbai Khan … .Thalaivar stardom, Chiru Kingdom…Sathya wisdom is a right Pan India song in the film. Ella Piece Piece ….another catchy number of this film.

Ajaneesh Lokanath has not shown any drop in his caliber even in the technical service to the film. The bombastic background score is another highpoint of this film UI.

HC Venu, a senior technician working with Upendra for a long time has given extremely sensible and eye catching visuals. The vast canvas of Upendra getting able support from cameraman HC Venu is nothing like ‘Golden Chariot’ ride.

The dialogues of Upendra are appealing at many places – ‘Hannu Kachchodinkinta Munche Hennu Bicichodikintha Munce value’ – in another place ‘Manavanigintha Kroora Yaru Illa’, Devru andre Devva Hididaage…

Upendra has really done magic and he has given his best so far in UI. It is up to the people to incorporate good value additions narrated in the film.

This UI is a compulsory viewing for the family audience. Take a trip to your inner world and have a careful watching as it is a diligently made film.
