Under SGS Creations, produced by S.G. Satish and written and directed by Gurumurthy, the trailer launch event of the film Ugravatara was held grandly at MMB Legacy. Real Star Upendra was impressed by the glimpses he saw and expressed his appreciation. Later, while speaking, he said, “The director’s hard work is evident in this. But he seems a bit worried. It was the same for me the first time as well. In the future, you will become a star director. I have seen the Ugravatara at home, and you will witness it too. However, police officers shouldn’t appear glamorous. That’s my objection. If they look glamorous, how will they beat up the rowdies?” His humorous remark made the audience laugh. He continued, “With your and the people’s blessings, hundreds of new artists will emerge, and many families will find light. There might be minor mistakes, but forgiving such things is a great quality we Kannadigas possess. Please don’t judge the movie before watching it,” he requested.

Actress Priyanka Upendra, speaking about her role, said, “I kept wondering if I could even play this character. In India, women continue to face exploitation. The film conveys the importance of self-defense, secure apps, and respecting the police, as they not only protect but also help society,” she explained.

Director Gurumurthy added, “From the day Madam agreed to the role after hearing the story, she has been encouraging us. The film addresses social concerns and shows how women should be respected. Just like how we respect our mothers, sisters, and daughters at home, we should do the same outside. Certain real-life aspects that reflect society have been incorporated into the film. Madam has become the ‘Action Queen’ through this movie, with five unique stunts. She trained her body rigorously to perform in front of the camera. The dubbing for four languages is completed, and now we need to begin promotions. Please come to the theaters and support us,” the director urged.

Actors Robo Ganesh, Latha, Darshan Surya, Lakshi Shetty, Charan, Leela Mohan, music director Krishna Basrur, cinematographer Nandakumar, and others shared their joy. Also in attendance were actor Niranjan Sudheendra, Upendra’s brother’s son, and Nidharshan.
