The trailer for the film with the unique title U235 is both catchy and absorbing. There’s no doubt it compels discerning film audiences to check out the film.
A talented and highly qualified team has worked on U235, which centers on the discovery of uranium (used for nuclear bombs and batteries) by the character Bhumi. After Bhumi, the central character, goes missing, a series of three murders takes place. The film is set to release on November 8 across Karnataka.
Experimental films are emerging from new teams in the Kannada film industry, and U235 follows in that trend, made by a largely new crew. Recently, the trailer was released for this film, which stars dynamic actor Devraj in the lead role.
As an MBA graduate, I have dreamed of directing films and have worked as an assistant director on several projects. This is my first directorial film, featuring a suspense-thriller storyline with engaging courtroom scenes that will capture the audience’s attention. The film is produced by Geetha under the banner of Geetha Creations. Smt. Geetha, an M.Tech-qualified professor with an interest in plantations and social-friendly activities, left her profession for family commitments and now serves as the film’s producer, along with co-producer Nithyanand from Mandya, a devoted fan of Dr. Ambarish.
Nithyanand, an engineer by profession from Mandya, regards Dr. Ambarish as his mentor.
The cast includes dynamic star Devraj, Vivek, Pooja Durganna, Dinesh Mangalore, Rajesh Nataranga, Hima, and Hanumante Gowda. Krishnappa has written the story, with cinematography by Manjunath and editing by Jagdish.
In the storyline, the heroine Bhumi discovers uranium, and the plot takes an unexpected turn. Director Channegowda C.N., a former employee of Toyota, promises a film that does not disappoint and is suitable for family viewing.
This project follows my previous film Iraavan. In U235, Vivek plays a police officer, while actress Hima received praise from the theater team for her court argument scene performance.
Cinematographer Manjunath and story writer Krishnappa were present at the press conference. Krishnappa shared insights into how the story for U235 was conceived. For his next project, he has written a story titled Kavalugaara, initially intended for power star Puneeth Rajakumar; he now hopes to offer it to either Vinay Rajakumar or Yuva Rajakumar in the future.
Veteran comedy actor, music director, and KCA Chairman Sadhu Kokila conveyed his best wishes to the team in a video message, encouraging careful craftsmanship in the film’s making.
