In recent times, young individuals armed with impressive qualifications are contemplating the professional challenges ahead and considering a transition into the realm of art. Among various avenues, the world of cinema and visual media stands out as a platform that offers these individuals an excellent opportunity to exhibit their talents.

Now, let’s take a closer look at Manjunath Hoodal, hailing from a remote village in Gulbarga district. Having served as a software engineer for a substantial 12-year period, he ultimately resolved to venture into the realm of art. His prowess in writing has been evident since his childhood. Moreover, he recognizes that the talents of North Karnataka remain somewhat overlooked. Armed with ten songs ready for upload on YouTube, he stepped into the world of film media to introduce the Tune 123 label, with its inaugural song being ‘Bannada Chitte.’ This beautiful composition features the renowned Vijayaprakash, famous for his ‘Jai Ho’ fame. However, in pursuit of wider recognition, Manjunath and his associates believed that a melancholic song would garner swift attention, leading them to launch ‘Bannada Chitte.’ He maintains the perspective that the return on his investment will gradually materialize as he invests in his passions.

Geethason, originally known as Manjunath (he adopted the name change due to the prevalence of many individuals with the same name), derives his name from his mother, Geetha, and his son. This combination results in ‘Geethason,’ much like Rathnaja, the director of ‘Nenapirali.’ Geethason boasts a commendable track record as a singer, notably for ‘Bhavageethe’ on Chandana TV channel. His extensive collaboration with the esteemed music director Rajan Nagendra spans 11 years, and it was MS Kamath who introduced him to the world of cinema.

Arfaz Ullas, hailing from Northern Karnataka, has already gained significant recognition on YouTube for his musical creations and is credited with delivering the ‘Bannada Chitte’ song.

During the joint event celebrating the launch of YouTube Tune 123 and the release of the song, Manjunath H’s brother, Mahesh, expressed his elation at his brother’s growth. Mahesh has observed his brother’s inclination toward unique and innovative pursuits from a young age.

The gathering also saw the presence of notable figures such as producer and director Shashidhar, Cariappa, and others, who extended their blessings to Manjunath and his team as they embarked on this new journey into the realm of fame.
