Under the banner of PCD 2 Film Factory, the film “Thaane,” produced by Gayathri M and directed by S. Bhagat Raj with Praveen in the lead role, recently had its trailer released. Renowned actress Malathi Sudhir unveiled the trailer and conveyed her wishes to the team. Kannada Sahitya Parishat Secretary Santosh Hanagal was present as the chief guest. The trailer, which has generated significant curiosity, confirmed that the film will be released on May 30. Following the trailer release, members of the film team shared their thoughts about the project.
Director Bhagat Raj, thanking actress Malathi Sudhir for launching the trailer, stated, “Thaane has generated expectations since the beginning. ‘Thaane’ means police station. The film revolves around a case in a police station, featuring four key characters. It includes father-son and brother-sister sentiments. It is also a love story. The film encompasses all elements that a viewer seeks and carries the tagline ‘C/O Srirampura’. Our film will be released on May 30. We seek everyone’s support.”
Lead actor Praveen said, “I come from a theatre background. ‘Thaane’ is the first film where I’ve played the lead role. I’m very happy that the trailer was unveiled by Malathi Sudhir, who has made her mark in theatre. In this film, my character’s name is Kaali.”
Producer Gayathri extended her gratitude to the entire team and the dignitaries who attended the event. Cast members including Rohith Nagesh, P.D. Satish Chandra, music director Manasa Holla, and distributor Vijay also spoke about the film “Thaane.” The film features cinematography by Prashanth Sagar and editing by renowned editor Suresh Urs.
