On the auspicious occasion of Gauri Habba, Karnataka’s iconic star, Dr. Shivarajkumar, unveiled the title song, “Gopilola O Shokivala,” from the upcoming film Gopilola. The song has garnered widespread appreciation following its release on Sukruti Music’s YouTube channel.
Produced under the banner of Sukruti Chitralaya, Gopilola is directed by R. Ravindra, with S. R. Sanath Kumar serving as the producer and Manjunath Arasu as the co-producer. The title track, written by Keshav Chandra, has been sung by Hemanth Kumar and Varijashree, with music composed by Mithun Ashokan from Chennai. Choreographed by Sadacharya, the song features a vibrant dance performance by Manjunath Arasu and Nimisha. Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar, extended his best wishes for the film’s success during the song’s launch.
Gopilola narrates the story of a farmer, Dharmagowda, who strongly believes in natural farming, following the principle that “a farmer who trusts the land will never fail.” The film highlights the ongoing battle between chemical-based food production and organic farming. Amidst this conflict, a love story between Gopi and Leela unfolds. Leela becomes captivated by Gopi, but an unforeseen incident leads to misunderstandings between the two lovers.
Scheduled for release on October 4, Gopilola emphasizes the importance of sustainable farming and features a strong message about the supremacy of natural agriculture.
The film’s screenplay and dialogues are written by Keshavchandra, with cinematography by Suryakant and editing by K. M. Prakash. The background score is composed by Rakesh Acharya. Manjunath Arasu, who co-produced the film, plays the lead role, with Nimisha starring as the heroine. The film also features a diverse supporting cast including S. Narayan, Telugu-Tamil star Saptagiri, Jahnavi, Josyman, Nagesh Yadav, Padma Vasanthi, Swathi, Hanumante Gowda, Dingri Nagaraj, Kempegowda, Sachin, Radha Ramachandra, Rekha Das, and Satish.
