Komal shines in a Vajramuni look.

Produced under the banner of Soundarya Cine Combines and Narasimha Cinemas by Anusuya Komal Kumar and Sahana Murthy, who have impressed audiences with their remarkable acting, “Yalakunni” stars Komal Kumar in the lead role. The movie is written and directed by new talent N.R. Pradeep, who has also penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues. It is set to release across the state on October 25th.

A unique aspect of this film is that Komal Kumar is appearing in a double role for the first time. Komal takes on the look of the renowned Kannada actor Vajramuni, and fans are thrilled with this appearance. The movie features an ensemble cast including Dattanna, Sadhu Kokila, Mithra, Suchendra Prasad, Shivaraj K.R. Pete, Tabla Nani, Raju Thalikote, Suman Nagar Kar, Mansi Sudhir (Kantara fame), Jaggesh’s second son Yatiraj Jaggesh, Jayasimha Musuri, Raghu Ramankoppa, Mahantesh, Bow Bow Jayaram, director Sahana Murthy, Bhajarangi Prasanna, Thithi Thammanna, Pradeep Poojari, Tejas, Umesh Sakkare Nadu, and others. The female leads are played by Nisarga Appanna and Gichchigili’s Amruta.

A special highlight is the debut of Vajramuni’s grandson, Akarsh, who is entering the film industry with this movie. Mayur Patel plays the antagonist.

Set in a complete rural backdrop, “Yalakunni” has music composed by Dharma Vish of “Rathavara” fame, editing by Deepu S. Kumar, and cinematography by Halesh Bhadravathi. Choreography is done by Murali Master, and the action sequences are coordinated by Narasimha Master. The tagline of “Yalakunni” is “Mera Naam Vajramuni.”
