Director Ravi Srivatsa, known for directing several blockbuster movies like Deadly Soma, Ganda Hendathi, and Madesh, has re-entered the scene with Deadly Gang after a brief break. Previously focusing on the underworld of Bengaluru, Ravi Srivatsa is now portraying the underworld of North Karnataka through the film Gangs of U.K. This time, he not only took on the story, screenplay, and direction but also established a new production house called Deadly Arts to produce this film. Veteran director M.S. Ramesh has stood by him throughout.

The movie is based on a true incident, inspired by events that took place at Pillari Falls in Bagalkote. A key line in the movie is, “When a murder occurs, the blood leaves its mark, spreading from one person to another.” With the tagline North Karnataka Massacre, the film incorporates eight songs by Sant Shishunala Sharif, with music by Sadhu Kokila.

The cast includes 56 artists, mostly newcomers, such as Orata Prashanth, Jyothi Shetty, Kote Prabhakar, Padma Vasanthi, and Muni. Additionally, KV Raju’s son Amogh plays a major role. Other promising talents include Sonu Upadhyay, Praveen, Ugram Reddy, Satya, Dhillon, Naveen Krishna Puttur, Prajwal Maski, Umesh Sakkarenadu, and Vikas.

Journalist Naveen Krishna Puttur plays a unique role as Minister Bangarappa Bhosaraj. Known for his involvement with prominent amateur theater groups in Bengaluru, he has acted in over a thousand plays across Karnataka as part of the Rangamukhena Shikshana campaign. Actively engaged in television, cinema, and theater, Naveen Krishna also directed Melobba Mayavi, starring national award-winning actor Sanchari Vijay. Currently, he is pursuing both acting and film direction.
