Produced under the banners of Adhvith Film Factory and Muscular Group by Bhargavi Murali and Ranganath B, and directed by Thirumalesh V, Operation D has been awarded a U/A certificate by the regional censor board. The film is set to release soon.
Operation D is a suspense thriller and murder mystery. Although it revolves around a murder mystery, the film has no graphic violence or action sequences. This fictional story, conceptualized in 2018–19, took shape as a movie in 2022. The director, Thirumalesh V, shared that the support of his family and friends was instrumental in transforming his story into a film. He confirmed that the movie will hit the screens shortly.
The movie features four songs composed by Vedika, who also penned the lyrics alongside Kempagiri and Thirumalesh. The technical crew includes Vikram Sridhar for editing, Karthik Prasad for cinematography, Jaihariprasad for choreography, and Thermocol Srinivas for art direction. The BGM and 5.1 sound mixing have been handled by Rahul Arj Kalra at Arj Kala Studio.
The cast includes Rudresh Budanoor, Suhas Athreya, Vinod Dev, Sneha Bhatt, Inchar Bharat Raj, Mahesh S. Kali, Sridhar, Prithvi Banavasi, Shivanand, Sanchaya Nagaraj, Venkatachala, Shivamanju, Crazy Nagaraj, and Shivu Jambalagi, among others.
The songs and teaser of Operation D, released through the AA Studios Kannada YouTube channel, have already won the hearts of audiences.
