Director Rajarathna detailed the entire process of shooting and the associated struggles. This film is not just about four songs and six action sequences filmed in 55 days. Producer and lead actor Shanmukha, along with his wife, have provided significant support for the film’s production. The film addresses various issues, emphasizing Hindu and Muslim unity with impactful dialogues for both communities. Director Rajarathna incorporated real-life incidents into the film, with about twenty percent offering a commercial appeal.
Inspired by the film ‘Indrajith’ starring Rebel Star Ambarish, Shanmukha Jai took on real punches in the action sequences. To achieve the right mood for acting, he endured actual kicks and blows. A yoga expert, he also performed intense abdominal twists inspired by Dr. Rajakumar. The film is slated for release next month through distributor Venkat.
Co-actor Vardhan stated that the film ‘Taj’ transcends caste, creed, and religion, focusing on humanity.
