Here is ‘Putravyamoha’! A retired government school teacher, Smt. Gayathri, who served for 38 years, is now the official producer of the Kannada film Taane C/O Srirampura. One of Gayathri’s sons, Praveen, is the protagonist of this family entertainer. Harinakshi is making her debut on the silver screen. Smt. Gayathri, profusely praising the film team for their effort, thanked everyone for this attempt and hopes to receive good wishes from the audience.

Meanwhile, Praveen, a solid fighter in life, emerges as a hero after 17 years of his stint as a stuntman. Praveen, playing Kaali in the film, started his career as a fighter in Minchu, a Kannada film, in 2007. He studied at Vijaya Film Institute, where renowned stunt director Kaurava Venkatesh picked him for films in the action department. Praveen is also a theater actor and has performed in the play Margosa Mahal, alongside Rishi, Vasishta Simha, and Niranjan. His burning desire to establish himself as an actor, like his friends who are flourishing today, has finally come true. He has performed five action sequences in Taane C/O Srirampura.

The highlight of the film’s first media meet was the two songs composed by the terrific singer Manasa Holla (daughter of Shankanada Aravind and Rama). This marks her eighth film as a music composer. Manasa has introduced a fresh approach to the hero’s introduction song. The meaningful track Balinalli Bharavaseya Belaku Nee Hoodu… penned by Remo, is sung by child artists Gnana, Achintya, Janya, Moulya, and Anushka. The second song, Suji Mallige Smile Kottalu…, is beautifully rendered by Rajesh Krishnan. Interestingly, Manasa Holla’s audio label, Lekha Music, was re-launched on this occasion.

Actor Rishi, police officer Ravi D. Channannavar, and Dayanand of DS Max released the songs and trailer, wishing the movie success. The cast of the film includes B.V. Rajaram, Bal Rajwadi, Rohit Nagesh, Kuldeep, Santosh Karki, Bheeshma Ramaiah, Nagaraj, P.D. Satish Chandra, Praveen John, Pooja Rao, and others.

The core storyline of the film revolves around how the hero, Kaali, fights for justice in an era when media and police forces were sparse, about 20 years ago. During that time, people had to struggle to get justice and draw the attention of the authorities. Director S. Bhagatraj stated that Taane carries the tagline C/O Srirampura.

“I am from Mysore. I am a stage artist. My role as Sri Devi in this film is also significant,” said heroine Harinakshi.

Remo of Maja Talkies fame spoke about the inspiration behind the song. Child singers also performed live and entertained the audience. Cinematographer Prashant Sagar, along with the artists and technicians of Taane, was present at the ceremony.
