Renowned filmmaker Yogaraj Bhat visited the residence of Dr. Shivarajakumar to discuss a project titled ‘Saraswathi’. However, after some time, a different story was presented by Shyam from Mumbai. Dr. Shiv chose this second concept for priority.
Following this approval from Yogaraj Bhat, known as ‘Saraswathi Putra’, he approached ‘Lakshmi Putra’ Rockline Venkatesh with the idea of ‘Dosthi’. Bhat believed this subject was fitting for Prabhudeva, the acclaimed Indian dance star, and the esteemed actor Dr. Shivarajakumar.
A year has passed since this discussion, and now the ‘Karataka Damanaka’ team has interacted with the media as the film’s completion nears.
During the media event at Rockline Studios, prolific actor Tanikella Bharani, renowned for over 800 films, expressed his pride in being a part of this Kannada film. Among his extensive filmography, this movie stands out as a significant highlight. He extended his gratitude to Dr. Shivarajakumar, Prabhudeva, Rockline Venkatesh, Yogaraj Bhat, and Yogi-Amol, whose contributions eased his experience in the Kannada film ‘KD’.
The movie’s narrative draws from the ‘Panchatantra’ and revolves around two clever individuals resembling masterminded foxes. These characters, originally cunning, evolve into the closest of friends, becoming the film’s focal point. The synergy between the two actors is remarkable, as their chemistry clicked right from the start.
Another notable figure in this project, as per Yogaraj Bhat, is V Harikrishna, who composed seven songs for the film. Rockline Venkatesh played a pivotal role in facilitating the grand production. Bhat himself features prominently in the film, surprising with his transformed appearance. He has lent authenticity to the characters by incorporating the Uttar Karnataka language, excluding Prabhudeva and Shivarajakumar.
Rockline Venkatesh, the proud producer, expresses his gratitude for the opportunities he has received. His dream of crafting significant ventures that transcend regions and languages finds realization in this project. He acknowledges Anand Audio’s pivotal role and emphasizes their prominence in the audio business. The film’s music is released under the Anand Audio label, contributing to its mega star status. The songs are taking shape admirably, largely due to Harikrishna’s remarkable contributions. Bhat’s scripting and narration have left a strong impression on Rockline Venkatesh.
