Produced by Navarasan under Eagle Media Creations and directed by Kiran Kumar, “Suthradaari” features Chandan Shetty as the lead actor for the first time. The trailer of this film was recently launched by Action Prince Dhruva Sarja. With a suspense thriller storyline, the trailer has piqued curiosity. The highly anticipated film is set to release on May 9. After the trailer launch, chief guest Dhruva Sarja and the film crew members spoke on the occasion.
“The trailer is good. The technicians’ work and the actors’ performances are impressive. I have two reasons for being here today. One, Navarasan had organized the event for our film ‘Pogaru.’ Secondly, this is the first movie where my childhood friend Chandan Shetty is acting as a hero,” said actor Dhruva Sarja, wishing the team well and mentioning that he would watch the film with his family on May 9.
Navarasan said, “Thanks to Dhruva Sarja for launching the trailer. Till now, we have conducted several events, and it was Dhruva Sarja who inaugurated them. Our journey of hosting events began with ‘Pogaru.’ Now, with ‘Suthradaari,’ set to release on May 9, Chandan Shetty is making his debut as a lead actor. We have also received immense support from technicians for our film.”
“My talent was first recognized by the Sarja family. Dhruva Sarja has come to launch the trailer of my first film as a hero. This moment reminds me of the release day of his debut film ‘Addhuri.’ The day before the release, till early morning, we visited theaters together, and soon after the morning show, people were thrilled seeing Dhruva’s performance — all those memories are flashing back now,” said Chandan Shetty, thanking Dhruva Sarja. “Suthradaari is my first film as a lead actor. I have played the role of a police officer. Navarasan is a major reason behind me becoming a hero,” he added.
Director Kiran Kumar, heroine Apoorva, actors Sanjay Gowda, ‘Natana’ Prashanth, Lohith, Ramesh Master, Ganesh Narayan, and lyricist Kinnal Raj spoke about the film. Producers Chetan Gowda and Rajesh were also present at the event.
