The teaser of the new Kannada film ‘Supplier Shankara’ is characterized by its sharp and captivating visuals, complemented by the melodious songs. This became evident when the media was treated to the first look, teaser, and two songs during a screening at MMB Legacy on a Friday morning.
Directed by Ranjith Singh Rajput, ‘Supplier Shankara’ boasts an array of stunning scenarios, making it a highly anticipated project, especially given it’s the first venture for the director. The film is produced by the Ranjit brothers, Chandrasekhar and Nagendra. Initially budgeted at Rs. 60 lakhs, the film’s costs have escalated to Rs. 3.5 crores. No compromises have been made in the production, and the film is soon to undergo the censorship process, as stated by the director. We take pride in our technical excellence, with dedicated efforts from all the artists and technicians involved. My co-directors, Sridhar, Chandru, Ajith, Vyshnav, Harshit, and others, have provided exceptional support. Notably, we created 17 different versions of the trailer. The film weaves a compelling narrative with elements of suspense, thrills, sentiment, and love, as confidently expressed by Director Ranjith Singh Rajput.
Nischit Karodi, known for his roles in ‘Gantumoote’ and ‘Tom and Jerry,’ takes on the role of Nischi in this film. He plays a bar supplier, and the film has been shot in authentic, real-life locations, offering a raw and immersive experience on the silver screen.
Deepika Aradhya, in her third film, portrays Punya, a government school teacher. Her character exudes innocence and curiosity regarding the film’s outcome.
Trinetra Films, launched on Valentine’s Day in 2022, is at the helm of this project. The film’s crew, including music director RB Bharat, cinematographer Satish Kumar, and editor Satish Chandraiah, were present during the media briefing for ‘Supplier Shankara.’
