The much-anticipated return of Deepak Aras, brother of renowned actress Amoolya, in the film ‘Sugar Factory’ is gaining momentum with an extensive publicity campaign. A captivating trailer for the movie was unveiled by the charming star Prem, along with Jagadish (Amoolya’s husband) and Nikhil Kumaraswamy, in front of an enthusiastic crowd at MMB Legacy.
In addition to the trailer, the title track was also launched, bringing joy to the debutant in Kannada cinema, Kabir Rafi, the music composer. Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Kabir disclosed, “While music directors like Ravi Basrur and Ajanish Lokanath are venturing into non-Kannada films, I am making the move from Telugu films to the Kannada cinema industry. I assure you that I will converse in Kannada in my next project.”
Prajwal from Vijayapura presented a sketch of the revered Karnataka Rathna Dr Puneeth Rajakumar, along with the leading ladies Sonal, Ruhani, and Adhvithi. The dance director, Dhananjay, expressed his appreciation for the excellent opportunity to work on a film with diverse shades.
After a decade-long hiatus, Deepak Aras returns to direction, describing the film as a family entertainer. Titled ‘Sugar Factory,’ the film is set in a pub in Mangaluru, incorporating pub culture to attract the youth. Kabir is confident about the film’s promising content and hints at more insights in the upcoming second trailer. KVN Distribution plans to release the film in over 150 theaters on November 24.
Producer R Girish highlighted the film’s demand for production and expressed optimism about its timely release, anticipating a positive audience response.
Darling Krishna, who considers himself a winning horse, drew parallels between his observations during ‘Love Mocktail’ and the thematic content of ‘Sugar Factory.’ He noted the film’s urbanized storyline and mentioned having donned stylish and trendy costumes for the project.
