For an action filled thriller subject the team has chosen ‘Star’ symbol as title. The titles like Om, Swasthik, Super are some of the symbol titles in the past.
The newly elected Basavanagudi MLA Ravi Subramanya graced the occasion and sounded clap board for the muhurat shot a few days ago. The most interesting factor is that Smt Anu and Manju Vijayasurya are jointly directing this film.
This is the debut production of Sharat and he is also the protagonist in the film and at the Srinivasanagara Kempegowda playground the film commenced the shooting.
Apparently Sharat’s father is a fighter in Kannada filmdom. That is also one of the reasons for him to enter the cinema field. Sharat is the winner of the crown in reality show ‘Pyati Mandi Kadig Bandru’, he has some theater experience too.
The subject of this Rowdy Subject backdrop is so well done that audiences after entertainment would definitely collect a few drops of tears in their eyes, says Sharat.
In the field for the last 16 years working from light boy post Manju Vijaysurya says the title of the film narrates the story. This is an underworld subject. The support the heroine gives for the protagonist is interesting. We are catching natural action portions for this film. This is a local subject and shooting major portions in Bengaluru. The thrill and curiosity in the film continue till the end, says confident director Manju Vijayasurya.
Rajatha Raksha is the female lead. She acted in sundry roles in three films but this is her independent heroine film. Praveen M Prabhu is in his third Kannada cinema as cinematographer. He has plans to capture reality more for his camera.
Anu, the wife of the director, says he got involved at script level and discussed more on how reality should be presented. A sorrow, one mass and two love songs are in the composition of Vikas Vasishta.
