One of the ‘Dasa Parampare’ exponent, epoch making personality Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru (1680-1752) who attained divine glory from Lord Venkateshwara is coming on Kannada silver screen as a feature film 0n 7th July 2023 from the director of ‘Sri Jagannatha Dasaru’ a popular film Madhusudhan Havaldar.

Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru known for his meditation, composing and singing glories of God besides teaching morals of life for Bhagavatsadhana .

At the pre-release meet the 7th generation of Sri Prasanna Venkatadasaru Dr Shubash Khakandaki (DRDO scientist who worked with giants like former President of India Dr Abdul Kalam) and his wife, a novelist Rekha Khakandaki were present. It is based on the research work of Shubash, his wife put it in a novel format and on their appeal this film ‘Sri Prasanna Venkatadasaru’ is made with a lot of effort. Rekha Khakandki’s novel ‘Aruna Raga’ was a film in the past and it is the divine touch that made me write a novel on our ancestors, she says. Dr Shubash is very firm that the film ‘Sri Prasanna Venkatadasaru’ will be very appealing for all age groups and we have many more to ascertain from our ancestors.

Madhusudhan Havaldar slowly becoming expert in making the ‘Dasa Parampare’ films after mega hit of ‘Sri Jagannathadasaru’ (it ran for 60 days in Malls, earned over Rs.80 lakhs profit) remembered his mother Ambuja and said in Mathambuja banner this film is made. I have gained good confidence today to make these kind films and my assistant directors are key support in carrying out the film he says. Dr Srinath, Jayathirtha co producers were not present as they were far away, Vijayanand Nayak INTEL employee, Vishnuthirtha Joshi, Prabhanjan Deshpande (lead actor) Srisha Achar and Devavrath – young age Sri Prasanna Venkatadasaru, Leela, Anilachar, Lakshmi, Vijayakrishna music director of six plus five bits, cinematographer Narayan, editor RD Ravi, assistant directors Savanth, Bobby and others were present at the media briefing of the film ‘Sri Prasanna Venkatadasaru’. Auto Raju is distributing the film all over Karnataka.
