Under the banner of PRK (Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar), KRG (owned by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj), and Jayanna Films (Jayanna-Bhoganna), a grand film “Ekka” is being made. Even before the release of that film, a new film under this banner has been announced.
After being in talks for many days, the Yuva Rajkumar and Suri film has officially been launched today. On the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, the muhurtha (inaugural ceremony) was held simply at Subramanya Temple in Bengaluru. Sandalwood’s “Salaga” Duniya Vijay Kumar gave the clap, and Appu’s daughter Dhriti Puneeth Rajkumar did the camera switch-on and wished the team well. Yuva’s family, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Karthik Gowda, Yogi G Raj, director Soori, and the entire film team were present.
Sukka Soori is famous for his raw-style making… Hence, there is curiosity about how Yuva will be showcased in his world. Also, Duniya Vijay’s elder daughter Rithanya Vijay Kumar is the lead actress in this film. Having already stepped into the industry with her father through the film Land Lord, this becomes Rithanya’s second film, and Yuva Rajkumar’s third.
In Soori’s world, regular collaborator Deepu S Kumar will handle editing, Charan Raj will compose the music, Santosh will be the art director, and Shekar will handle the camera work for this film. By the end of May, the team is expected to hit the shooting floor. The film, coming from three prestigious production houses, is being made on a grand scale.
The film Ekka, starring Yuva Rajkumar and directed by Rohit Padaki, is set to release in June under the banners of PRK-KRG-Jayanna Films. Currently, the film’s shooting is in full swing. The already-released teaser and title track have seen massive success.
