The audio launch event of two songs from “Matte Male Huyyuttide” was held grandly at Utsav Legacy. The film carries the tagline “Ella Nenapaguthide.”  The film is based on short story of veteran writer K Sadashiva.

Gangadhar, who has been working as an assistant art director for three decades, is investing under the banner of Gaviranganatha Swamy Pictures in the name of his wife Suma. Shruti Anilkumar is the co-producer and has also portrayed the role of a professor. Param Gubbi, who has been active in the film industry for many years, has directed the film. The screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics are by Kabaddi Narendra Babu, and the music is composed by Atishay Jain.

Shravanabelagola MLA C.N. Balakrishna and senior director Naganna inaugurated the function. Naganna shed light on the problems currently faced by the film industry and possible solutions. Later, the MLA unveiled the poster of “Bheema Teerada Hantakaru,” directed by Kabaddi Narendra Babu and being produced under the same banner.

Producer’s son G. Likhith and theatre artist Jayavardhan, who appears in two shades, play the male leads. The female leads are Sulaksha Khair and Bhumika Gowda. Along with them, Chandrashekar Reddy A.M., Prakash Murthy, Kumari Swarna, Shruti, Dinamani, Kavya Kumari and others have acted in the film.

Speaking on the occasion, the director Param Gubbi said that one of the short stories written by litterateur K. Sadashiva titled “Matte Male Hooyyutide” has been adapted for the film. When the producer was informed about the plan to donate the remuneration amount payable to him to the Sahitya Parishat as an endowment and to institute an annual award in Sadashiva’s name for young writers, he gladly agreed. Kabaddi Narendra Babu has been a key reason for the film taking shape.

The film features elements set in two time periods — the 1980s and the year 2000. The love story of the first pair fails, while the second pair’s love story succeeds. The scenes between these two timelines are emotionally moving. Rain plays an important role in the film. Meaningful messages appear throughout. Shooting has been carried out in the beautiful locations of Sringeri, Horanadu, Koppa, Hariharapura and Agumbe, informed Paramgubbi.

Cinematography is by Shantharao Ipili, editing by Dhanush Veer, art direction by Babu Khan, and choreography by Nanda.
