The Kannada film Pyaar is produced by H. S. Nagashree under the S.M. Productions banner. The film features Ravichandran in a key role as the heroine’s father, with Rishwin and Rashika Shetty playing the lead roles. The film is written and directed by S. Supreeth.
The film carries the tagline An Emotional Journey of Love. A song from the film titled “Ondhe Maatali Helodadare” has been released and has crossed more than 100 million views on Instagram, along with million-plus views across platforms. The song has music composed by Palani D. Senapathy and cinematography by K. S. Chandrashekar. It was shot at locations in Ladakh. The film team shared information about the song’s reception during a recent press meet.
Speaking at the event, Dr. B. S. Nagaraju stated that the song was shot in Ladakh, Kashmir, and Jaisalmer. Director S. Supreeth said that the film includes a love story along with a focus on the emotional relationship between a father and daughter. He added that after finalising the story, priority was given to the songs in the film.
The song “Ondhe Maatali Helodadare” has been sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal, marking their collaboration on this song after several years. The song was filmed over four days at high-altitude locations in Kashmir. The production also involved shooting in Rajasthan, the Andaman Islands, and locations in and around Mangaluru, Chikkamagaluru, Mysuru, and Bengaluru.
Actor Rithvik said that there was anticipation regarding the filming of the song. It was also mentioned that Rashika Shetty is currently participating in the television reality show Bigg Boss Kannada.
Music director Palani D. Senapathy stated that the song was developed based on a line provided by the director, with lyrics written by Nagendra Prasad. Lyricist Hamsalekha responded to the song after listening to it and also commented on the other songs in the film.
In addition to Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam, the film features songs sung by Kunal Ganjawala, Vijay Prakash, Rajesh Krishnan, and Palak Muchhal. The supporting cast includes Srinivasa Murthy, Vijay Surya, and Shankar Ashwath.
