South Indian renowned actor Suman Talwar, Chandu Gowda, and Kavya Mahadev play lead roles in this serial, produced and directed by Preetham Shetty.
Entertainment channel Star Suvarna, which has been offering a feast of entertainment to Kannadigas, will begin airing the brand-new serial “Snehada Kadalalli” starting this Monday. From May 12, the show will air every night at 8:30 PM. The serial team members spoke during a press conference organized to share this information.
“I began my journey in 2003 on Star Plus channel,” said director Preetham Shetty. “Now I am directing the serial ‘Snehada Kadalalli’ for Star Suvarna channel. I thank Star Suvarna for giving me this opportunity. Also, in this serial, South Indian popular actor Suman Talwar is acting. This is also Suman’s first Kannada serial. Chandu Gowda plays the hero and Kavya Mahadev the heroine. There’s often talk that in serials, a wedding is shown for a whole week. But in our serial, the wedding scene concludes in just four minutes. Usually, background music in serials uses film songs, but we have composed a new song. With many such specialties, this serial will be broadcast from this Monday at 8:30 PM. It is being produced under our Pingara Productions,” he said.
“It’s been 47 years since I entered the film industry. I have acted in films in 11 languages, including Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. I’ve also acted in a film directed by Preetham Shetty. ‘Snehada Kadalalli’ is the first Kannada serial I’m acting in. The story was impressive, and Star Suvarna channel always selects good content. That’s why I agreed to act in this serial,” said actor Suman Talwar.
“It’s been around eleven years since I entered the small screen. I have also acted in some films. For me, acting in films and serials is the same. The story of ‘Sneha da Kadalalli,’ directed by Preetham Shetty and airing on Star Suvarna, is very good. Star Suvarna gives more importance to good content. Even if you watch just a 30-minute episode, it feels like watching a movie. My character is named Shivaraj Aras. I’m happy that renowned South Indian actor Suman is playing my father’s role in this serial,” says actor Chandu Gowda.
Kavya Mahadev, who plays the heroine, also spoke about her role. Actress Hema Bellur and others were present at the press conference.
