SINGER DEEPTHI SURESH MAKES HER KANNADA DEBUT

With an abundance of local talent available, the Kannada film team of Son of Muthanna has roped in Deepthi Suresh, a renowned singer from the Tamil film industry, for a song.

The song “Karedare Hagela Baralare Nanu”, written by Jayantha Kaikini for the film S/O Muthanna, has been sung by Deepthi Suresh, who is well-known for her work in Tamil and Hindi films. Produced by Purathan Films and directed by Srikanth Hunsur, the film stars Pranam Devaraj in the lead role. With this song, Deepthi Suresh marks her entry into the Kannada film industry. The music for the film has been composed by Sachin Basrur.

Deepthi Suresh has won audiences’ hearts with songs from films like Maamannan, Baby Jaan, Mara, Jawan, and Vettaiyan, showcasing her unique voice. In particular, her songs “Kodi Parakura Kalam” from Maamannan, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, and “Manasilayo” from Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth, have garnered millions of views and widespread appreciation. Deepthi Suresh has delivered another remarkable performance in S/O Muthanna. The song will soon be unveiled by A2 Music.

Son of Muthanna is a father-son story that has completed shooting and post-production and is now ready for release. The film will be distributed by Shalini Arts, headed by Jack Manju.

SRK Films has provided support for this production by Purathan Films. Pranam Devaraj stars alongside Khushee Ravi of Diya fame as the female lead. Rangayana Raghu plays the role of the protagonist’s father. The film also features Suchendra Prasad, Girish Shivanna, Tabala Nani, Srinivas Prabhu, Sudha Belawadi, Arun Chakravarthy, and others.

The film’s songs, composed by Sachin Basrur, have lyrics penned by Yogaraj Bhat, Jayantha Kaikini, and Pramod Maravanthe. Skating Krishna has handled cinematography, while Harish Komme is the film’s editor. This much-awaited film is set to hit the screens soon.
