This film ‘Simharoopini’ on the significance of Goddess Maramma Devi, made with a lot of devotion and enthusiasm by producer KM Nandeshwar, seems to be an epoch-making film in the history of Kannada cinema. Firstly, this is the first authentic film made on ‘Sri Maramma Devi,’ and Sri Chakra Films, banking on the ability of talented lyricist Kinnal Raj, entrusted him with the responsibility of direction. The film ‘Simharoopini’ is set for release on October 17.

Kinnal Raj, who has written songs for hit movies like ‘KGF’ and ‘Salar,’ wrote the screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics and directed this film. The movie’s first win seems to be that the audio rights were bought by ‘Malu Nipnal Music Institute’ at a high price.

Last month, the teaser introducing the characters was released and made a lot of noise. In this regard, the song launch program was held on the second day of the Navratri festival. Veteran actor Suman, who had arrived from Hyderabad for promotion, said that this movie has made him happy in all these years of experience. “My character will answer the questions of whether Devi is there or not. Annamayya, a Telugu movie, was a hit back in the day. Let this be the same,” he said. Apparently, veteran actor Suman is in a negative role in this film. For the friendship he has with Kinnal Raj, he agreed to act in this film.

The director says that no matter what difficulties they face in rural areas, people turn to the God they believe in. It is shown through the characters that there is still faith in fair festivals. Every god has a background. Similarly, Devi comes to earth in the form of Mahalakshmi. Why she has become Maramma is narrated through the screenplay, while on the other side, Parvati Devi comes in seven avatars to kill demons. The last incarnation of that is Maramma Devi. Along with this, some commercial elements have been added, and the producers have poured money without compromising anywhere to make the scenes look good. The love song sung by singer Jaskaran Singh of ‘Krisham Pranaya Sakhi’ fame has become a hit, which has brought pride to the team. Everyone has cooperated with devotion. They said that if the audience comes to the cinema, they can have a glimpse of the goddess.

More than one hundred and twenty artists have acted well, without considering age, thinking that we are all children of the mother. Producer KM Nanjundeshwara asked viewers to come to the talkies as Amma’s children.

In ‘Simharoopini,’ two talented anchors, Divya Aluru and Ankitha Gowda, acted in two different roles. Divya Aluru experienced strange developments at the shooting spot, and she wondered whether the audience would get the same experience while watching the film. Divya Aluru, daughter of Karnataka pride Aluru Nagappa, plays the mother role to the elderly actor Harish Roy in this film.

Another journalist-cum-anchor, Ankitha Gowda, has a lovely song ‘Bangarada Bombe…’ that is fitting to her sweet looks. She plays Sindhu, a soft character, and says this film has three timeline contents.

Artists like Yash Shetty, Neenasam Aswath, Harish Roy, Vijay Chendur, Yashasvini in the Devi Maramma role, Arav Lohit, Khushi Basrur, Manmohan Rai, Sagar, music composer Akashparva, colorist Kishore, and cinematographer Kiran shared that they are happy to have got an opportunity in the ‘Simharoopini’ movie.
