On Guru Poornima Day, the teaser of the Kannada film ‘Simha Roopini’ was unveiled at the Dr. Ambarish Auditorium in Kalavidara Bhavana in the presence of guests and well-wishers.

The installation of Sakshat Maramma Devi on the dais, decorated with mango and neem leaves, was a special highlight. Well-known Kannada cinema lyricist Kinnalraj made his debut as a director, writing the screenplay, dialogue, and lyrics for this film, adding another high point to this project.

Doddaballapura KM Nanjundeshwar wrote the story, and the film is produced under the banner of Sri Chakra Films. The team includes Aakashparva for music, Kirankumar for cinematography, Venki UDV for editing, Kishore for color grading, Adventure Thriller Manju-Chandru Bande-Manjunagappa, and Nandu J for sound effects.

The 1.45-minute teaser clip was unveiled on the big screen by Pan India music composer Ravi Basrur. In his address, he praised the devotion of the director and producer towards the goddess and appreciated the work of the technicians. “The scenes are moving, and I believe everyone feels the same. My directorial journey is almost 15 years old, and during that time, we discussed that I should compose music under his direction. We have collaborated on several movies since then. The role of such talents is crucial for the growth of the industry,” he said.

Jadesh Kumar of ‘Kaatera’ fame released the poster. He expressed his admiration for the director, who hails from his hometown, and has observed his hard work from the beginning. He praised the film for showcasing the culture of their town and appreciated the music. Jadesh wished for the success of Kinnal Raj’s film.

“In life, I wanted my name to appear on the title card. Ravi Basrur allowed me to write a song for the movie ‘Anjaniputra,’ which gained recognition with ‘KGF.’ Now, I am working on the film ‘Mother.’ As the title suggests, it is about Sri Maramma Devi, with special graphics techniques. The film features the themes of Sapta Mantrika, where Parvati comes to earth in seven incarnations to slay the demon, with the final incarnation being Sri Maramma Devi. An attempt has been made to showcase the glory of the mother, miracles, and commercial elements according to current trends,” Kinnal Raj stated, expressing hope for the film’s success.

He further mentioned that Guru Poornima is an auspicious day. “132 artists have acted in the film. I have brought the producer’s story to life. The graphics, which last for 15 minutes, are currently being worked on. The CG will add a special angle to the movie,” Kinnal Raj added.

Producer KM Nanjundeshwara shared that everyone has experiences in their lives. “The mother Maramma Devi sits majestically and solves all problems. Feel the experience of motherhood. Trimurti, Trishakti, Sarva Shakti Swaroopini is the village goddess Maramma. The village deity is the root of all gods. Worshiping your town’s deity is akin to having a darshan of Shriman Narayana in Tirupati. By the grace of God, we have achieved everything in life. If Amma takes one step, the Mother takes three steps forward. Well-wishers from all walks of life have come to pray for us,” stated producer Nanjundeshwar.

Popular anchor Ankita Gowda is recognized as the heroine in this film. Yashaswini Sidde Gowda plays Devi, while Ravi Basrur’s daughter Khushi Basrur appears as a child goddess. Harish Roy, Yash Shetty, Dinesh Mangaluru, Puneeth Rudranag, Bajrangi Prasanna, Neenasam Ashwath, veteran actor Suman, Tamilian Dina, and Sagar also play important roles. Tabalnani, Vijaychendur, Divya Aalur, Manmohan Rai, Arav Lohit, Pillanna, Madhusree, Vedahasan, Sunanda Kalburgi, Sasikumar, K. Balasubramaniam, and others are also in the cast.

The beautiful teaser release ceremony lasted for about two and a half hours, and everyone was mesmerized with devotion.
