From the evocative title ‘Simha Guhe’, our team pays homage to the prolific actor Dr. Vishnuvardhana, known for his iconic roles in over 200 films. Dr. Vishnuvardhana, revered as the ‘Sahasa Simha’ of Kannada cinema, leaves behind a rich legacy, notably carried forward by his son-in-law, Anirudh Jathakar.

Anirudh Jathakar, being an integral part of the event, epitomizes the connection between the film team and their admiration for Dr. Vishnuvardhana. His presence at the audio and trailer launch was a moment of joy, as the team, deeply rooted in their appreciation for Dr. Vishnuvardhana, found his attendance gratifying. Alongside, esteemed figures like Senior Journalist Sadashiva Shenoy and Cricket Tournament organizer Sunil graced the occasion, extending their support and best wishes for the film’s success.

Directed by SGR, ‘Simha Guhe’ marks the filmmaker’s third venture, following his previous successes with ‘Samarth’ and ‘Taza’. SGR describes the film as a captivating blend of suspense, crime, and mystery, predominantly set against the backdrop of Jagarahalli town. The titular ‘Simha Guhe’, a house named in honor of Dr. Vishnuvardhana, serves as a pivotal setting, with the protagonist deeply revering the legendary actor. Filmed across picturesque locales such as Hassan, Sakaleshpur, and Mudigere, the cinematography by Mahender adds a layer of visual brilliance to the narrative.

Lead actor Ravi Shirur, returning to India after a stint in Australia, not only spearheads the cast but also takes on the responsibility of production. His portrayal of a village tanker driver embroiled in the complexities of a murder investigation promises a compelling performance.

Nivishka Patil, making her debut in the film industry, expresses her gratitude for the opportunity and underscores the significance of ‘Simha Guhe’ in launching her career. Accompanied by professional dancer Anuradha, the cast brings diverse talents to enrich the cinematic experience.

The film’s aesthetic appeal is further elevated by AC Mahender’s masterful cinematography, evident in the mesmerizing visuals showcased in the songs. Notably, the song ‘Bhumi Thiruguvudu’, penned by renowned writer Shivananje Gowda, captures the essence of familial conversations, adapted seamlessly for cinematic rendition. Satish Aryan’s melodic rendition of the song, coupled with his composition prowess, adds depth to the film’s musical landscape.

Sai Ramesh, with two decades of experience in the dance domain, showcases his choreographic finesse in his debut as the film’s dance director, further enhancing the film’s artistic merit.
