The influence of Chandanavana (Sandalwood) talent is expanding far and wide, exemplified by the recent foray of popular actress Sharmila Mandre and ‘Mundina Nildhaana’ director Vinay Bharadwaj into the Tamil film industry with ‘Sila Nodigalil’ (translated as ‘Kelavu Kshanagalalli’ in Kannada). This project, creatively produced by Sharmila Mandre, showcases the collaborative efforts of two Kannadigas making their mark in Tamil cinema.

Vinay Bharadwaj, who previously directed the acclaimed Kannada film ‘Mundina Nildhana’ four years ago, garnered positive reviews, and his connection with Sharmila Mandre was facilitated through the renowned Lucia fame Pawan Kumar.

The narrative of ‘Sila Nodigalil’ revolves around a contentedly living couple in London whose lives take a dramatic turn when a young individual enters their family. The unfolding mystery of a murder forms the crux of the plot, creating suspenseful moments on the silver screen.

In this Tamil film, notable personalities such as RK Punnagai Poo Geetha, Richard Rishi, and Yashika Anand play pivotal roles, complemented by five songs from five different music directors, including Masala Coffee, Bjorn Surrao, Darshana KT, and Staccato.

Sharmila Mandre, renowned for her roles in ‘Sajani’ and ‘Galipata 2,’ expressed confidence in Vinay Bharadwaj’s directorial prowess after witnessing the success of ‘Mundina Niladhana.’ While Sharmila does not act in ‘Sila Nodigalil,’ her role as the creative producer contributes valuable insights to the film.

Scheduled for release in Tamil Nadu on November 24, ‘Sila Nodigalil’ promises to captivate audiences with its engaging storyline and talented ensemble cast.
