‘Kathayondu’ is a song from the movie ‘Sidlingu 2’ released and makes a good sound for the quality and purpose of it. At the orphan house (considered as children of God) this song was released and the film heading for February 14 release.
‘Sidlingu 2’, written and directed by Vijayprasad of ‘Sidlingu’ and ‘Neer Dosa’ fame, is releasing on February 14 as part of Valentine’s Day. The first video song of the film was released on Saturday evening at an orphanage near Nagadevanahalli.
This song, which starts with ‘Katheyondu’, is written by Arasu Anthare, while talented Anoop Seelin has composed the music and also sang the song. The song features the performances of hero Yogi and heroine Sonu Gowda.
Talking about the film ‘Sidlingu 2’, Yogi said, “The muhurat of this film was last year at an orphanage. Now the first song of the film is being released at the same place. The film has turned out very well. We are all very excited. This is a film that has been made with a lot of hard work. A film that has been made after facing a lot of humiliation says Yogi.
Producers Hari and Raju made the film with us in our difficult times. God has given me and Vijay Prasad the opportunity to make a good film. Sonu is an old acquaintance. This is the first time we have done a film together. The fight and disagreement that Vijayprasad and I have had in this film has not happened before. It is only about the film. Working with him is a pleasure. To become a perfect actor one has to work with him. I want to work with him more in the future, mentioned Yogi.
Director Vijayprasad said, “It is common to release songs in luxurious hotels and among celebrities. However, for the ‘Sidlingu 2’ film crew; we are releasing the song here because it is meaningful to release the song among like-minded people, among good-hearted people. Therefore, we are releasing it in a special children’s home. Yogi and Sonu have come here as characters. Yogi is in this role throughout the film. Along with Yogi, two heroes have come here. Music director Anoop Seelin and Arasu Anthare are the two heroes stated Vijayaprasad.
The lead actress Sonu said, ‘I am new to this team. But, I didn’t feel like I was working for the first time as a newbie. There was good competition between me and Yogi. Every day was a good experience. Getting Vijayaprasad to say OK in the first take was a big challenge. I was preparing every day to be OK in the first take. As a student, I have a lot to learn from him. Anoop Seelin has created magic through his songs. It is a great pleasure to act in a good film,’ she said.
‘Sidlingu 2’ is produced by Srihari and Raju Sherigar and stars Yogi, Sonu Gowda, Suman Ranganath, Girija Lokesh, Mahantesh, Antony Kamal, Manjunath Hegde and others in important roles. The film has Prasanna Gurlakere as the cinematographer and Akshay P. Rao as the editor.
Jagadish, the producer of the film ‘Bheema’, is releasing the film across the state.
