The prestigious Shri Raghavendra Chitravani Annual Awards Ceremony is set to take place on January 26, 2025, marking the 49th anniversary of the institution. This grand event, which celebrates excellence in Kannada cinema and journalism, will be held at MMB Legacy (GT Mall), Magadi Road, starting at 5:30 PM.
Shri Raghavendra Chitravani, established by the late Shri D.V. Sudhindra, the first promoter of Kannada cinema, has been honoring the contributions of producers, journalists, and artists for 24 years. What began as a modest initiative during the institution’s silver jubilee celebrations has now grown into a significant annual event with 10 awards being presented this year.

Kumari Anuradha Bhat
Dr. Rajkumar Award, presented by the Parvathamma Rajkumar family, for her excellence in playback singing.
Shri Omprakash Rao
R. Seshadri Memorial Award, presented by Smt. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, recognizing his achievements as a senior director.

K.V. Jayaram Award, presented by Smt. Meenakshi Jayaram, for his remarkable story writing in the film Shivamma.
