A film based on a true incident in the life of a young woman in Hassan’s ‘Pritiya Huchcha’ introduces the villainous role of Shivayogi.
Another role as important as the hero and heroine in the story of this film is the villain. The heroine’s life will become chaotic due to the entry of this villainous character.
Young actor Shivayogi Siddappa Guthemmanavar has appeared in this villainous role. He is also the co-producer of this film. Hailing from a family of sculptors in North Karnataka, Shivayogi was employed in an IT company in his early days in Bangalore. His father, Siddappa Guthemmanavar, was a sculptor, and Shivayogi developed an interest in art from a young age; initially, he acted in many serials like TN Sitaram’s ‘Magalu Janaki’, Shantam Papam, Kaveri Kannada Medium, etc. He entered the big screen from the Kannada film, Interval.
Shivayogi also made his silver screen debut by acting in the film ‘Pritiya Huchcha’. In this film, he played the role of the village chieftain’s son. Apart from this, he also produces a comedy genre film called ‘Low Budget No Budget’ through his own Srividya Creations.
Directed by V. Kumar, ‘Pritiya Huchcha’ is produced in two languages, Kannada and Tamil. Shooting was completed over 65 days in Mandya, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Sravanabelagola, and Kamatipur in Mumbai.
Currently, the post-production work of the film is underway. J.N. Rangarajan has composed the music, Sunil K.R.S. is the cinematographer, and editing is being handled by Praveen Vishnu.
