The Karunada Chakravarthy Dr Shivarajakumar one more from the family banner Geetha Pictures ‘Bairathi Ranagal’ in the direction of Mufti director Narthan went on the floors at Bande Mahakalamma temple.
Smt Geetha Shivarajakumar, Nivedhita Shivakumar and others were present at the muhurat time. Bairathi Ranagal is the screen name of Dr Shivarajakumar in ‘Mufti’ Kannada film, a blockbuster that also features roaring star Srimurali. Director Narthan says it is a prequel to ‘Mufti’ Kannada film. You would know how the central character transforms as Bairathi Ranagal. For the muhurat shot Shivarajakumar appeared in the costume that he had in ‘Mufti’ Kannada cinema.
I had immensely liked the character sketched by Narthan in Mufti. Now in our family banner that character’s name is the film means something special to me. After six years Mufti is remembered again. In this prequel I will be in a different look and script work is tremendous opined Shivarajakumar.
