In a recent trailer reveal for his upcoming film ‘Avatara Purusha 2’, veteran actor Rambo Sharan, known for his transition from comedic roles to lead roles in over 100 films, expressed his desire to collaborate with fellow actor Rishi.
“I admire Rishi’s impeccable comedic timing, as showcased in ‘Operation Alamelamma’ and his other works. Working with him is definitely on my radar for future projects, especially if the script calls for dual leads,” Sharan stated.
Director Simple Suni, referring to Rishi as the ‘Foot Soldier’, praised his versatility in genres post ‘Simple Ag Ondu Love Story’, likening Sharan to the ‘Jim Carrey’ of Kannada cinema. Rishi reciprocated the admiration, expressing his anticipation for Sharan’s films.
In the midst of these discussions, Sharan extended best wishes for Rishi’s upcoming release, ‘Ramana Avatara’, slated for next month. The trailer launch event also saw the announcement of upcoming projects for the attending actors: Prem’s ‘Appa I Love’, Rishi’s ‘Ramana Avatara’, Praveen Tej and Ashika Ranganath’s ‘O2’ scheduled for April 19, and Vicky Varun’s ‘Kala Patthar’ set for May.
