The regional censor board has awarded a U/A certificate to ‘Shanubogara Magalu,’ an adaptation of the novel by Smt Bhagya Krishnamurthy.
Directed by the esteemed Kodlu Ramakrishna, the film features Ragini Prajwal, wife of actor Prajwal Devaraj, in the titular role. The shooting locations included Bangalore, Srirangapatna, Channapatna, Chikkaballapur, and several others.
Produced by CM Narayan under the Bhuvan Films banner, ‘Shanubogara Magalu’ boasts numerous special features. Cinematography is handled by Jai Anand, with editing by BS Kempraj. The art direction is by Vasant Kulkarni, music by Ramesh Krishnan, production management by Karan Mayur, and co-direction by S. Nagaraj Rao (Hasna) and Raghu Kalpata. The dialogues are penned by BA Madhu.
The cast includes Ragini Prajwal, Niranjan Shetty, Ramesh Bhatt, Srinivasamurthy, Sudha Belawadi, Vanishree, Padma Vasanthi, and others. Notably, acclaimed actor Kishore portrays the role of Tippu Sultan in the film.
