A love story should encompass happiness, sacrifice, and a haunting narrative. Director Nagasekhar has adeptly portrayed these elements on screen in his previous films such as “Aramane,” “Maina,” and the first part of “Sanju Weds Geeta.” Now, Nagasekhar is presenting a new love story of Sanju and Geeta, featuring Rachitha Ram, replacing Ramya with Srinagar Kitty.
This film narrates a beautiful love saga of our soil’s lovers who struggle to attain a better price for silk yarn. Currently, most of the shooting and editing has been completed, and the dubbing work has been carried out at Loop Studio. The third phase of shooting has already been completed for 15 days across eleven locations in Switzerland, and the fourth phase has commenced. A grand song has been filmed in Kunigal.
Discussing the song, the film’s producer, Chalavadi Kumar, mentioned that the shooting of the pivotal colorful song took place at Kunigal’s UB Stead Farm (Horse Farm) for about 5 days. This lavishly composed song incurred a cost of approximately Rs 45 to 50 lakhs. We plan to shoot the remaining songs even more extravagantly. Overall, we aim for the entire film to exude grandeur. We envision “Sanju Weds Geeta” to be a magnificent visual poem.
Producer Chalavadi Kumar, under Pavitra International Moviemakers, is bankrolling this film on a lavish budget. Nagasekhar has penned the story, screenplay, and directed the film. Music Director Sridhara V has enlisted eminent singers like Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Mangli, and others for 5 beautiful songs.
The film boasts a star-studded cast, including renowned artists such as Ragini Dwivedi, Chetan Chandra, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Tabala Nani, Gichigili Gili Vinod, and villain Sampath Kumar. A 24 Creations through Gokul Films will release the film worldwide.
