A talkative director with a lot of guts, Nagashekhar, has finally wrapped up the shooting of his much-anticipated film ‘Sanju Weds Geetha 2,’ featuring Srinagara Kitty and Rachita Ram.
The shooting of the much-awaited film Sanju Weds Geetha 2, produced by Chalavadi Kumar under Pavitra International Moviemakers, has concluded at Kanteerava Studios.
The final scene featured heroine Rachita Ram drawing art on the drawing board. Written and directed by Nagashekhar, Sanju Weds Geetha 2 tells a unique love story set against the backdrop of the struggles faced by silk farmers. Rachita Ram has replaced Ramya as the heroine alongside Srinagara Kitty in this film.
Nagashekhar, who achieved a hat trick of successful films with 100-day screenings, mentioned that the film started a year ago and was successfully shot in six stages over a period of 72 days, covering locations such as Sidlaghatta, Switzerland, and Bangalore. The film boasts a significant star cast, including Kittappa, Rachita Ram, Sadhu Kokila, Tabala Nani, and others. Editing and dubbing have already been completed, with plans to release the audio soon. Nagashekhar believes that the film’s blend of modern technology and its surprise elements will attract audiences. In this installment, the hero expresses his love with the words, “Beauty, I love you Geetha.”
Chalavadi Kumar, the film’s producer, stated that shooting began last August and was completed on August 19. He praised the technical team’s cooperation, noting that not a single unwanted shot was taken. He also mentioned plans to release three songs from the film in cities like Hassan and Haveri.
Srinagara Kitty commented that the shooting has been completed and that they will soon present the songs to the audience. He added that he appeared as a silk farmer in this film.
Heroine Rachita Ram shared that her experience with the movie was very positive. While her character is not dubbed, and the title remains the same, the story is different. She fondly remembered the shooting experience in Switzerland, noting that the weather did not hinder their progress even in November-December. She praised the movie’s visuals, attributing their quality to Sathya Hegde. “Most importantly, the atmosphere wherever we went was very supportive,” she said.
In this film, Nagashekhar has expressed the poetic love of soil lovers who struggle to secure better prices for silk yarn.
Cinematographer Sathya Hegde admitted that making a sequel to a super-hit film comes with its challenges. He described the shoot in Sidlaghatta as challenging but rewarding. “We have changed the storytelling approach in this film,” he said, noting that they filmed in eleven locations in Switzerland.
Music Director Sridhara Sambram shared that Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Mangli Dhani, and others have contributed five beautiful songs to the movie.
The film features a star cast of renowned artists, including Ragini Dwivedi, Chetan Chandra, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Tabala Nani, Gichigili Gili Vinod, and villain Sampath Kumar. A 24 Creations through Gokul Films will release the film worldwide.
