The Prabhu Mundkur-starrer Murphy is all set for release, with the film hitting screens on September 27. Promotional activities have just begun, creating excitement among fans.
A catchy song titled “Samaya” has been released from the film. Dhananjay Ranjan penned the lyrics, with Rajat Hegde lending his voice, and Arjun Janya composing the tune. The song features impressive performances by actor Prabhu Mundkur, and actresses Roshini Prakash and Ila Veeramalla.
The film’s story is written and directed by BSP Varma, with Prabhu Mundkur co-writing the screenplay alongside Verma. Murphy is a romantic drama with a large ensemble cast.
In addition to Prabhu Mundkur, Roshini Prakash, and Ila Veeramalla, the film also stars Duttanna, Ashwini Rao Palakki, Mahantesh Heeremath, and Ramaprasad Banavar, among others. The dialogues were jointly written by Naveen Reddy and Prabhu Verma, with Mahesh Togata handling the editing, and Adarsh R as the cinematographer.
Murphy is produced by Ramco Somanna and BSP Verma under the banners of Somanna Talkies and Varnasindhu Studios.
