The sibling of the renowned writer, director, and popular comedy actor Sadhu Kokila, Laya Kokila, who is also a music director and comedy actor, has recently finished shooting for the horror film ‘Thaitha’. During a media event, they unveiled the song ‘Shivane Kaapadu…’ from the movie.
The audio event at Sri Chamundesware Studio was graced by Dharma Gurus from Hindu, Muslim, and Christianity communities. The event was well-attended, with Sadhu Kokila, Usha Kokila, and Siri Music Chikkanna in attendance.
During the event, Sadhu Kokila blessed his brother’s film, Laya Kokila Film, stating that theirs is a family of music. He expressed good wishes and luck for the Kannada film ‘Thaitha’, in which his elder brother is the director, and also contributed to the music score.
Laya Kokila, the director of the film, expressed his excitement about the project, which combines horror, comedy, and thrill. The film has been scripted and directed by Laya Kokila himself, who also thanked his brother for gracing the event. The film features Harshika Poonachcha in a prominent role, along with his daughter Bhanupriya and other new talents.
The movie includes four songs, and the recently released song ‘Kapadu Shivane’ was penned by lyricist Ramnarayan and sung by Anuradha Bhat. Laya Kokila shared that they have plans to release the film soon.
During the film song release event, the lead actress Harshika Poonacha announced her marriage date, which is scheduled for August 23 and 24 in Coorg. She extended a personal invitation to everyone for the wedding.
Actor Riyan, Bhanupriya, lyricist Ramnarayan, and others expressed their satisfaction and joy in working on this film.
