A team of fresh talents is gearing up to present a new film under the banner RP Nima. The tagline boldly declares “Black and White”. As part of the film’s second promotional phase, the motion poster and a four-minute character-introduction teaser were launched in a grand event held at MMB Legacy. Veteran actor Karisubbu and Directors’ Association President N.R.K. Vishwanath graced the occasion, inaugurated the event, and extended their best wishes to the team.
Under the banners of DL Groups Films and Kabbalamma Creations, Yuvraj S. (from Byaladakere) has taken on multiple responsibilities for the film—writing the story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction—while also portraying a dangerously intense antagonist. He is supported in direction by choreographer Rajdev. The production team includes Sheelanaydu, Raghavendra Prasad G, Kalpana R, Srinivas N.P, Vinay Kumar, Shashikant Poojari, Srinivasulu K, Bavigadde Erriswamy, Veena Mohit Kumar, G. Lingesh, B. Nagesh, and Anil Gowdru.
Speaking at the event, director Yuvraj S. revealed that the screenplay is inspired by incidents from the life of his friend Raghavendra Prasad. That is why the film is titled RP. He hinted at the film’s concept, stating, “In today’s world, despite the destruction of nature, we continue to ignore it. The story begins in daylight, but evil takes over at night. That’s all I can reveal for now.”
Raghavendra Prasad G plays the male lead, while Sreenidhi and Layakokila are cast in key roles. Child artists Nikhil R. and Dakshith Gowda have been finalized in the first phase of casting, with more casting still underway. The entire shoot will take place in villages near Adichunchanagiri, as confirmed by Yuvraj S., who promised to share further details in the coming days.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Nagashetty Malgi, editing by Mutturaj, and VFX by Naik Lawrence. Interestingly, the film is being prepared for release in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam languages.
Prior to the main event, Studio 2, 3, 4 captivated the audience with a vibrant dance performance.
