The first Indian film in regional language Kannada ‘Road King’ was shot in Skype technology as director Randy Kent visa was an issue for the producers. With the difference in the timing in America to India, Randy Kent with the help of a laptop in his room worked in the night as it was day in India. It was a hectic challenge for the direction, recalled Randy Kent who had come to the trailer and song release event of the film at MMB Legacy in GT World Mall. Randy Kent felt extremely happy for meeting everyone face to face after the shoot completion.
The concept of the film ‘Road King’ (it is referred to as a two wheeler vehicle) is about the break up aftermath incidents in the life of protagonist Mathin Hussein. It is a reality based cinema with no build ups, says Matheen addressing the media. He is the winner of a reality show in Mumbai. Mathin Hussein is the protagonist of ‘Road King’ – apparently the hero is also the producer of this film is born in Bengaluru and grew up in the USA. It is based on a real life incident in Kolar. Mathin and Randy are good friends. When budget was the main issue the friends collaborated in making the film.
The trailer and song Suduthide…got good appreciation already. Sri of Crazy Minds, a go getter cinematographer and editor, appreciated the writing skill of Matheen. The final sound mixing for the film was done in Hollywood. There are 9 songs and the background songs in the film are done for this film recalled Sri of Crazy Minds.
Indivar Bhatia announced the sequel of ‘Road King’ and wished good success for the film. Kishor, Bhuvan Raj, Kishor and Leela Mohan addressed the media on this occasion.
Arif Lalani handled cinematography and sound designer for Scot Wolf has worked for this film. Crazy Minds Sri has done editing, Chandan Shetty, rap king has done music for the film.
Mathin had acted in Bindhaas Dadagiri reality show and he is making debut as hero from this film. The female lead of Run Antony Ruksar is female lead. Leela Mohan, Harish S, Nayana Shetty and others are in the cast.
