The Chandanavana (Kannada film industry) is currently bustling with the presence of television actors. Rithwik Matad, who rose to fame from the mega television serial ‘Gini Rama,’ is trying his luck for the third time as the lead actor in the Kannada films ‘Aa Eradu Varshagalu,’ ‘Gift Box,’ and now ‘Utsav.’
‘Utsav’ marks the directorial debut of Arun Soorya, who previously worked in director Nagendra Urs’ camp.
The film ‘Utsava’ has been quietly completed and features Poorvi Joshi, known for her role in ‘Face to Face,’ as the female lead. It revolves around a love story and is produced by Arasa Productions, helmed by Nadi Usha Srinivas. The music for the film is composed by Emina Mohammad, with lyrics penned by Jayanth Kaikini. Singers Javed Ali and Ankitha Kundu have lent their voices to the songs.
Shivaraj Mehu serves as the editor, while Gautham Mani handles the cinematography. The film has been shot in various locations, including Manali and Goa. Nagendra Urs, Prakash Tmminad, and others are part of the cast.
