This is another case of Putra Vyamoha (father’s affection for his son). Ramakrishna Ramohalli has produced a film for his son Venki. Kannada films with strong content tend to perform well, and Ride is a new film from a fresh team that brings a unique story to the table.
Recently, the songs and trailer of the film were launched. Producer Umapathy Srinivasa Gowda, Gourishankar of Kerebhete fame, along with Chetan, Venu, and Thimmegowda, graced the event as chief guests. Umapathy wished the film success.
This is the first film produced under Ramakrishna Ramohalli’s Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka Production banner. His son Venki makes his debut as the lead actor in Ride, alongside newcomer Tanvi as the female lead. YouTuber Neeraj Kumar also stars in a prominent role.
“This is my first film as a director, though I have worked as an assistant to several directors. Ride is a thriller with a storyline suitable for family viewing. It follows two young lovers who receive approval from their families to marry and go on a fun ‘ride’. However, that ride is full of unexpected twists and turns. The film was shot in Bangalore, Chikkamagaluru, and other locations,” said Director Bhanuteja, adding that the film is now ready for release.
“I am a civil engineer, but I always dreamed of becoming an actor. My father, Ramakrishna Ramohalli, supported that dream. In the film, I play a young lover, and the story revolves around what happens when he embarks on a ‘ride’ at the insistence of his girlfriend,” shared Venki (Venkatesh).
“This is my first film, and I hope for your support,” said the lead actress Tanvi. Neeraj Kumar, known as a YouTuber, also asked for blessings as this marks his debut in acting.
Music director Sendil Kumar shared details about the songs, noting that they were released through MRT Music.
