Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President Ba Ma Harish has unveiled the song ‘Neenu Hogo Darili…’ from the movie ‘Avalu Laila Alla Naanu Majanu Alla,’ a poignant film supported by a heartfelt love story. The protagonist, Ajay, belongs to a family of paddy-growing farmers and assumes the role of the hero. A Raichur District-based producer is making his debut in the entertainment industry.
The main character, Ajay, experiences three phases: high school, college, and university life. The Kannada film ‘ALANMA’ with four songs is scheduled for release on September 8, 2023. The film’s narrative underscores how our words shape our lives.
Titled ‘Avalu Laila Alla Naanu Majnu Alla’ (ALANMA) with the tagline “Mannisu Nanna,” this marks the directorial debut of Yallu Punyakoti. The film primarily focuses on Ajay’s educational journey through school, college, and university. Yallu Punyakoti, hailing from Koppala Kushtagi, is confident about the film’s reception.
Debutant hero Ajay Kumar, the brother of producer Siddu Togari, hails from a remote village in Raichur district. Drawing experience from his stage performances, he embraced the role of ‘Kuri Kayo Hudga’ with dedication. He described the physical transformation required for the role as a demanding challenge.
Dingri Naresh, also from northern Karnataka, expressed his journey and gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the film.
At the pre-release event, the film’s lyricist Puneeth shared his thoughts. The two heroines of the film, Niharika and Ashwini, were not present at the event.
The movie’s cinematography is by Karthik S, with editing by Gautham Nayaki. Madhu, Charan, and Balu handled the choreography, while Ramesh was responsible for the stunts.
Auto Raju, the film’s distributor, has secured screening in nearly 40 theaters. He has adopted a percentage-based business model to benefit the film’s producers.
The film was shot in Chitradurga, Hosapete, Bengaluru, Hiriyur, Ballari, Raichur, Koppala, and surrounding areas.
