The veteran actor, known for his nearly four-decade stint in Kannada cinema, Ramakrishna (famous for his role as the playboy in ‘Ranganayaki’), is set to portray the role of Sri Sangameshwara Maharaja in the upcoming biopic “Samartha Sadguru Sri Sangameshwara Maharajaru.” The first look poster of the film was released by Sri Subhudendra Swamiji of Mantralaya.
The shooting of the film, which narrates the biography of Sri Sangameshwara Maharaj, the Kalpataru of Inchageri Mutt situated at Hipparagi on the banks of the Krishna river in Jamkhandi taluk, will commence soon.
Prior to the muhurta ceremony, the film’s producer, Madhavananda Yogappa Shegunasi, and director Raja Ravishankar visited Mantralaya to seek the blessings of Sri Raghavendra Guru Sarvabhauma. Sri Subudhendra Theertha, the current head of the Mantralaya Math, unveiled the first look of the film and extended his best wishes for its success.
In addition to Ramakrishna, the film features Ravi Narayan (in a new introduction), Sundarraj, Vijayakashi, Vinayaprasad, Bhavyashree Rai, among others.
