Marking a new chapter in her career, celebrated Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi has launched her own venture after a 15-year journey in South Indian cinema, predominantly in the Kannada film industry.
On May Day, Ragini announced the establishment of RD Ventures, a company envisioned to support and promote talented individuals across various creative and professional segments. The first initiative under this banner is a collaboration with the upcoming Chitra Santhe Annual Film Awards, led by Girish Gowda.
“This has been a long-time dream,” said Ragini at a media meet. “I never wanted to be a solo player. I’ve always believed in growing together with the people around me in the profession. Achievements are more meaningful when they are collective.”

RD Ventures aims to bring together expertise from different fields to create high-quality, impactful projects. Ragini emphasized that she believes more in action than in words and that this venture represents her commitment to collaboration and growth.
The Chitra Santhe Film Awards 2025, scheduled for May 18 at the Conrad Hotel, will mark the first public event in which RD Ventures is participating. Known for its grand celebrations, the 13th edition of the awards promises a night of glamour and innovation. With RD Ventures joining hands, the platform receives a significant boost in scale and ambition.
Looking ahead, RD Ventures plans to engage in several initiatives, including film production, annual flagship events such as ‘RD Impact Night’ and ‘Ragini for Change’, as well as Project Shakthi. These projects aim to make an impact on digital platforms, foster collaboration within the South Indian film industry, and provide support—especially to women in need—further reflecting Ragini’s commitment to creating opportunities and driving positive change.
Meanwhile, AVR Group has been announced as the title sponsor for the Chitra Santhe Awards 2025.
