Raghavendra Rajakumar, a prominent figure in the ‘Dodmane’ (Dr. Rajakumar icon family), has pleasantly surprised audiences with his unexpected role in the Kannada film ‘Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe,’ directed by Simple Suni and featuring Vinay Rajakumar in the lead.

Vinay Rajakumar takes on the central role, while the addition of his father, Raghavendra Rajakumar, in a captivating role, has sparked conversations across the town. Simple Suni announced this exciting inclusion on the final day of the film’s shoot in Mysuru.

The film, titled ‘Ondu Sarala Premakathe,’ unfolds as a musical journey, delving into the life of a musician and boasting a total of 11 songs. The diverse range of songs can be enjoyed during the journey from Bengaluru to Mysuru, offering various musical formats. Simple Suni expressed satisfaction with the 83-day shoot conducted in locations like Mumbai, Rajasthan, Bengaluru, and Mysuru.

Raghavendra Rajakumar, reflecting on his experience, shared his initial desire to act in Simple Suni’s films after watching his debut work, ‘Simple Ag Ond Love Story.’ However, his surprise grew when an invitation arrived for an intriguing role, coinciding with his son Vinay’s involvement. Raghavendra Rajakumar, referred to as one of the ‘Swaras’ of Sapthaswara in the film, extended his best wishes for its success.

Vinay Rajakumar commended the comfortable working atmosphere provided by director Simple Suni, where acting naturally follows discussions on specific scenes. The ensemble cast, including colleagues like Rajesh Nataranga, Aruna Balaraj, Sadhu Kokila, and others, delivered commendable performances during the shoot in Mumbai, Rajasthan, Bengaluru, and Mysuru.

Producer Ramesh, expressing immense satisfaction, highlighted the special experience of bringing together father and son, Raghavendra Rajakumar and Vijay Rajakumar, in the film, emphasizing the deep familial connection within the ‘Dodmane’ generations.

Female protagonists Swatishta Krishnan and Mallika Singh, known for her TV serial fame, add charm to Vinay Rajakumar’s narrative. Music director Veera Samarth, responsible for scoring music for 11 songs, shared the film’s delightful moments, along with a runtime of two hours and twenty minutes. The film, captured through the lens of cinematographer Karthik, promises to be a heartfelt and musically rich cinematic experience.
