Raakshasa, the first web series from North Karnataka, is set against the backdrop of Saundatti village in the region. The story begins with the discovery of several dead bodies following a suspected crocodile attack. As the mystery deepens, Sub-Inspector Hanumappa takes charge of the investigation, searching for answers behind the deaths and tracking a figure referred to as “Raakshasa.”
The series is produced under Tharun Sudhir Kreatiivez, with Tharun Sudhir serving as the producer. Direction and screenplay are handled by Suhan Prasad, who has also co-written the series along with Apoorva Kumar.
The cast includes Raagu Vijay, Mayuri Kyatari, Appanna, Avinash Yelandur, Jahangeer MS, Mahadev Hadapadnat, Abhijith, Hulugappa Kattimani, and Sushmitha BR.
Cinematography is by Vivan Vidyut, while music is composed by L.V. Muthuganesh. Audiography is handled by Hiremath Ravi. Editing is done by A.S. Aravind and Bhuvan M. Dialogues are written by M.M. Shrikantha, who is also part of the direction team. The series is color graded by Tom C.J.
Costume design is managed by Ajit Sreeravi and Vastra Sanskara. Art direction is led by A. Sathish Appus. Poster design is created by Sugarcandy Disenos. Makeup is handled by Kiran and Shridhar.
