Pratham, the former winner of Big Boss, is fervently working to establish himself in the competitive film industry. While some of his previous attempts faced setbacks, his latest venture, ‘First Night with Devva,’ promises a unique concept. Notably, Pratham, who is currently engaged with impending nuptials, explores the unconventional theme of experiencing the first night with a ‘Devva’ (Ghost).
Under the direction of PVR Swamy Googaradoddi, the film commenced shooting at the sacred Bande Mahakali temple. The mahurat shot was inaugurated by veteran actor Srinivasamurthy, renowned for his compelling character portrayals.
Describing the film as a comedy, Pratham, who also penned the story, drew inspiration from the Vikram aur Bethal folklore. Nikitha plays the female lead, while Srinivasamurthy, Sangeetha, Harish Raj, Tanuja, and Manya take on ghostly roles. The film is produced by Pratham’s friend, Naveen.
Esteemed cinematographer PVR Swamy is at the helm of directing the film, with shooting scheduled in Bengaluru and abroad.
Veteran actors Srinivasamurthy, Nikita, Manya Singh, Sangeetha Harish Raj, and others shared insights into the characters they portray in the film.
The musical score and dialogues are in the capable hands of Advik Varma, while Nagesh serves as the film’s editor.
