“Love Reddy,” a film with strong ties to the Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh border regions, was exclusively filmed in the Chickballapura district. Most of the actors in the film hail from this region and are proficient in both Kannada and Telugu, giving the movie a unique linguistic blend known as ‘Telegannada.’
The local MLA, Pradeep Ishwar, made a significant impact in political circles today by unveiling the film’s trailer and urging the public to make it a must-watch. Pradeep Ishwar, renowned for his people-friendly initiatives in the field of education, secured victory in the previous Assembly elections with the support of Yalavalli Ramesh. His victory included defeating Dr. Sudhakar, the Health Minister, and his distinctive talkative style left a lasting impression.
Anjan Ramachendra, a handsome M Tech graduate who had previously worked as an assistant director in several Telugu movies alongside Smaran Reddy, finally realized his dream of collaborating with his best friend on a film. This dream project, titled ‘Love Reddy,’ is directed by Smaran Reddy, with Anjan Ramachendra playing the role of Narayana Reddy. The film is based on a true story infused with various elements, and Anjan received support from his sister Hemalatha Reddy, Sunanda Aunty, friend Madan, and others. Yalavalli Ramesh, a former Khadi Board chairman, also extended his support.
The trailer for ‘Love Reddy’ is incredibly captivating, and the melodious song adds further quality to the film. The esteemed director Simple Suni graced the occasion as one of the guests.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including NT Ramaswamy (in his 55th film as the heroine’s father), Manjula Reddy, Ravi, Raghu, Manju, Ganesh, and others, who expressed their joy at being part of this project. Varadaraju Chickballapura contributed to the screenplay and dialogue department.
Kannada actress Shravani plays the female lead opposite the film’s hero, Anjan Ramachendra. Director Smaran Reddy expressed his gratitude to everyone who played a significant role in the film’s production, emphasizing that ‘Love Reddy’ is a family-oriented film filled with emotions, fulfilling a seven-year dream.
The film is a joint production by Seheri Studio, MGR Films, and Geethamsh Productions, with investments from Sunanda B Reddy, Madan Gopal Reddy, Prabhanjan Reddy, Hemalatha Reddy, and Nagaraj Beerappa. The music for the film was composed by Prince Henry, Ashkar Ali served as the cinematographer, and Kotageri Venkateshwara Rao, renowned for his work in Bahubali, worked as the film’s editor.
